On the road to holiday happiness

Arrive and preferably stay forever.

The journey is not always the goal. There's nothing like the feeling of having arrived. Where is your holiday home from home? At the heart of the Dolomites, but far away from the hustle and bustle. Here you will find all the information and the fastest routes from everyday life to your time out.

Arriving from the north

The easiest way to reach Val Gardena is via the Brenner motorway (A22). Coming from the north, take the Chiusa/Val Gardena motorway exit. From there you will reach Ortisei after about 20 minutes on the well-signposted mountain road. After you arrive in Ortisei, drive through the small tunnel and immediately turn right over the next bridge. The Vidalongstrasse leads you up to our hotel on the left.

Coming from the south

Coming from the south, leave the Brenner motorway (A22) at the Bolzano-Nord exit, turn left towards Ponte Gardena and take the SS242 to Val Gardena. When you arrive in Ortisei, drive through the small tunnel and immediately turn right over the next bridge. The Vidalongstrasse leads you up to our hotel on the left.

Arrival in winter

The road to Ortisei and to the Rainell is normally well cleared. However, for a problem-free journey in winter, you should equip your car with winter tyres or snow chains.

Arrival by train or bus

All long-distance buses and trains stop at the railway station in Bolzano (40 km), Bressanone (34 km) or Chiusa (23 km). From there you can easily reach the hotel by taxi. Alternatively, there are scheduled buses several times a day to Ortisei (stop: Antoniusplatz).
