If you stay at the hotel on the slopes in Val Gardena, you enjoy the freedom to get active spontaneously. Without searching for a parking space, without a ski bus, without queuing at the ski depot. Next to your ski hotel in the Dolomites, you can take the cable car up to the Alpe di Siusi and get back to the hotel via the new panoramic Pilat run. The ski area Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi is the largest in South Tyrol and also the entry point to the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel and the Sellaronda. Be it a family or world cup slope, sun-kissed or floodlit, with ski instructor or without: at Rainell you can enjoy your Val Gardena ski holidays to the full!
In winter, getting to the lifts and back couldn´t be easier with the hotel's own shuttle bus. Alternatively, you can also reach the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car on skis. We are the only 4-star hotel in Ortisei with direct access to the slopes.
When you purchase a day or multi-day ski pass online, you will receive a 5% discount as well as a QR code to print the ski pass at reception. That way, you can start enjoying the slopes without waiting in line. If required, the ski pass can also be purchased on site.
You can book your ski equipment online in advance or choose it on site at Carlo’s Ski Rental. This will then be brought directly to the hotel's ski cellar for you. On request, your skis will be collected in the evening and will be ready again in the morning, perfectly prepared and ready for you in your locker.
Children enrolled in a weekly course programme of the Ski School Ortisei are chauffeured to the ski course and back to the hotel by the Floc Shuttle. All courses for children and adults can be booked directly with the ski school in advance.
