Sustainability is a hot topic around the world. And one thing is certain: at Rainell we really strive to do our part. That's why there are no hotel brochures and we only use recycled paper. That's why we harness the power of the sun. That's why the valuable drinking water from the Dolomites is bottled at the hotel instead of delivered.
Thanks to our location right on the slopes and on many hiking trails, your car can also enjoy a holiday. When you arrive you will receive the Val Gardena Mobil Card, which gives you unlimited and free use of public transport and local ski buses. This allows you to enjoy your holidays in the Dolomites more consciously and stress-free, and saves you the hassle of looking for a parking space or paying parking fees.
…when we have the best products so close? Wherever possible and feasible, our products come from the immediate surroundings. This begins at the breakfast table and ends with the decorations that hostess Ulrike carefully and lovingly selects from local shops.
We have 4 charging stations, each with 11 kW capacity for electric cars, two of which are Tesla Destination Charging Stations. The charging technology increases the range for electric drivers by over 100 kilometres per hour. We are proud to cooperate with electric car drivers and make a contribution to sustainable mobility.
The sunny location of our hotel not only benefits our guests, but also provides us with plenty of electrical energy. Thanks to the photovoltaic system on our roof, we cover a large part of our electricity needs ourselves. We use efficient, long-lasting LED lamps for all hotel lighting.
Turning on the tap at the Rainell, brings water of the highest quality flowing into your glass. Our tap water comes from springs at the foot of the Sassolungo and from the Puez-Odle Nature Park and meets the highest microbiological standards. That is why we avoid unnecessary transport routes and instead, bottle this valuable local water, from which we also produce our own sparkling water.
We do not provide disposable slippers in the room, so we ask that you bring your own flip-flops or slippers from home. If needed, bathing slippers are only available upon request at reception in order to avoid as much waste as possible.
